The PIC16 was a project/assignment that was assigned to us during this class. Our goal was to be able to use the schematic (show in the first picture and this was taken from the Evil Genius booklet on Page 13) to light up specific LEDs (which are shown in the second picture). After reading more about the PIC16 in the Evil Genius booklet, understanding of the diodes of the LEDs became more clear.
Eventually I was able to light up almost any LED, or combination of LEDs, that was requested. After completing this assignment my understanding of how diodes work became much better. This was important for me to learn because it can help me make or understand more complex circuits like this one in the PIC16.
